ÆNIX GREEN · Local authorities

Autonomous robotic mower for local authorities and large green spaces

Automate the mowing cycles of your parks, public facilities and large grassed areas.

Maintaining large areas takes many hours throughout the season. ÆNIX GREEN ONE automates part of the regular mowing passes while your teams stay in control of operations, finishing work and upkeep of the site.

Challenges for local authorities

Maintain more area with teams free for what matters most.

01

Large areas

Thousands of square metres can need regular mowing throughout the season.

02

Staff time

Long mowing sessions tie up teams on a repetitive task.

03

Organisation

Work has to take account of opening hours, visitors and other maintenance operations.

04

Running costs

Operator time, energy, maintenance and organisation add up over the season.

Automation

Autonomous mowing as an extra tool for your teams.

ÆNIX GREEN ONE takes on certain repetitive mowing cycles while your staff stay available for edging, finishing work, pruning, planting, site inspections and specific tasks.

RTK navigation

Digital mapping of the site and programmed routes.

100 % electric

Zero direct emissions during operation and low-noise running.

Remote control

Mobile app, 4G / Wi-Fi and remote controller.

Automatic resume

The robot can resume its mission after an interruption, depending on its configuration.

Replaceable battery

Helps limit downtime on busy days.

Supervision

Monitoring, alerts and control of operations.

Parks and open spaces

Municipal parks and large lawns

Large open spaces need regular mowing cycles, which can be particularly time-consuming for grounds-maintenance teams.

ÆNIX GREEN ONE can work from a map defined at installation, with working zones and no-go zones.

Every zone is studied by ÆNIX before deployment: access, obstacles, slopes, footfall, vegetation and the quality of cut expected.

Large spaces

Leisure areas and large grassed spaces

Large, relatively open areas are particularly interesting use cases for autonomous mowing.

Where the layout of the site allows, several zones can be brought into an organised mowing strategy.

Suitability depends in particular on the geometry of the site, slopes, obstacles, footfall and the level of finish required.

Area example

What about 10,000 m² of green space?

As a guide, with a throughput of up to about 2,000 m²/h in favourable conditions, an area of 10,000 m² represents about five hours of theoretical working time.

Actual throughput depends in particular on:

  • the shape of the site
  • grass height
  • vegetation density
  • obstacles
  • manoeuvres
  • slopes
  • ground condition
  • moisture
  • weather conditions

Transparency

The right solution starts with the right site.

ÆNIX GREEN ONE is not intended for every configuration.

Slopes, obstacles, trees, narrow passages, public footfall, type of vegetation, soil quality and the level of finish required must be studied before deployment.

ÆNIX validates every project to check that robotisation brings a real benefit to the site.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Request a site audit
Is a robot lawn mower suitable for local authorities?

It can be particularly relevant for certain large grassed areas that are maintained regularly. ÆNIX studies the layout of the site, how it is used and the result you expect before any installation.

What area can ÆNIX GREEN ONE maintain?

ÆNIX GREEN ONE has a stated throughput of up to about 2,000 m²/h in favourable conditions. The area actually covered depends on the site, the mowing schedule and operating conditions.

Do I need to install a boundary wire?

No. ÆNIX GREEN ONE uses a digital map and an RTK GNSS positioning system.

Can ÆNIX GREEN ONE be used in a park open to the public?

The set-up has to be studied case by case. Footfall, operating hours, obstacles and safety rules are all part of the audit carried out before installation.

Does ÆNIX GREEN ONE work on sloping ground?

The machine is stated for slopes of up to 20° / 36%. Actual suitability also depends on the soil, grip and the layout of the site.

Does the robot replace grounds-maintenance staff?

No. ÆNIX GREEN ONE automates part of the repetitive mowing passes to free up time for finishing work, landscape maintenance and tasks that need human expertise.

Can mowing be scheduled?

The solution lets you prepare missions based on the map and the configuration set up during integration.

Can a demonstration be arranged?

Yes. After an initial study of the site, ÆNIX can arrange a demonstration when the conditions are compatible.
