The challenge

Fields to maintain, teams short on time.

Municipal technical services, clubs and landscaping companies all face the same constraints. Recurring mowing of large areas absorbs hours that are needed elsewhere.

01

Not enough staff

Town hall technical services lack the manpower to keep up with the mowing schedule, especially in peak season.

02

Costly, noisy petrol mowers

Fuel, engine maintenance, noise and emissions: petrol mowing weighs on the budget and on the neighbourhood.

03

Inconsistent mowing

Depending on the team, the season and the weather, mowing passes slip and the finish varies from one field to the next.

04

Gruelling work

Mowing large areas, embankments or surrounds takes time and stamina, at the expense of other tasks.

ÆNIX GREEN ONE automates part of the repetitive mowing passes. Your teams gain time for the rest of the upkeep.

Implementation

From audit to autonomous mowing in 4 steps.

  1. 01

    Audit and antenna set-up

An ÆNIX expert studies your field, its access points and constraints, then installs the RTK base station, included with the robot.

  2. 02

    Mapping the field

The mowing perimeter and no-go zones are recorded with a stated accuracy of about 2 cm, with no boundary wire.

  3. 03

    Scheduled autonomous mowing

Routes are planned automatically. The robot avoids obstacles, resumes from where it stopped after an interruption and returns to its charging station on its own.

  4. 04

    Monitoring from the app

The ÆNIX app and the large-screen remote control operate the robot. Monitoring is remote over 4G, with alerts and notifications.

Benefits

Precise, continuous mowing you can control remotely.

Wire-free RTK autonomy

RTK GNSS positioning with a stated accuracy of about 2 cm: no boundary wire to bury or maintain. RTK base station included.

Automatic resume

After an interruption (battery, rain, obstacle), the robot resumes mowing from where it stopped.

Hot-swappable battery

Lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, 48 V – 48 Ah, up to 2 h of runtime per battery, replaceable so you can carry on without waiting for a recharge.

LiDAR obstacle avoidance

Dynamic obstacle avoidance using 3D LiDAR (depending on configuration), to work around field equipment and unexpected obstacles.

Automatic return to base

Depending on configuration, the charging station guides the robot back automatically, and it recharges without any intervention.

Remote control and alerts

ÆNIX app and large-screen remote control, 4G / Wi-Fi connectivity, remote monitoring and anti-theft alerts.

Use cases

From sports fields to large green spaces.

ÆNIX GREEN ONE is designed for open fields the robot can reach. Mowing takes place in an area closed to the public, with an emergency stop and obstacle avoidance. Every site is assessed and validated by ÆNIX before deployment.

Golf clubs

Roughs, practice areas and compatible surrounds. ÆNIX GREEN ONE is not intended for golf greens.

Please note: minimum cutting height of 2 cm. ÆNIX GREEN ONE is not intended for professional golf greens and is not positioned for elite professional sports pitches requiring extremely low mowing heights. Every site must be assessed and validated by ÆNIX before deployment.

Frequently asked questions

Everything about ÆNIX GREEN ONE.

Request a demonstration
How large an area can ÆNIX GREEN ONE mow?

Its indicative throughput is about 2,000 m² per hour in favourable conditions, with up to 2 hours of runtime per battery. The battery is replaceable and charging takes about 2.5 hours. The area actually mowed depends on the site, its terrain and the mowing strategy, defined during the site study.

What is the cutting height?

The cutting height is adjustable from 2 to 10 cm, with a 79 cm cutting width, 2 blades of 850 W at 3,000 rpm and a floating deck. The 2 cm minimum height is not suited to professional golf greens or to elite professional sports pitches requiring extremely low mowing heights.

Does ÆNIX GREEN ONE work in the rain?

The robot has an IP54 ingress protection rating and automatically resumes mowing from where it stopped after an interruption, for example because of rain. Operating conditions in poor weather are set out during the study of your field.

Is the public safe during mowing?

Mowing takes place in an area closed to the public. The robot has an emergency stop and dynamically avoids obstacles using its 3D LiDAR (depending on configuration). No-go zones can be defined during mapping. Every site is assessed and validated by ÆNIX before deployment. CE conformity currently being validated by ÆNIX.

What happens if it is stolen?

The robot is connected over 4G. It sends anti-theft alerts to the ÆNIX app and remains tracked remotely.

What maintenance should I plan for?

Blades are wear parts. The SÉRÉNITÉ service contract includes them, along with 2 visits per year (spring and autumn), updates and support by phone and remotely. Maintenance is carried out in France by ÆNIX.

How do I store the robot over winter?

The robot operates between 0 and 40 °C. The SÉRÉNITÉ service contract includes winter storage and recommissioning, as well as annual re-mapping.

Can I buy or rent ÆNIX GREEN ONE?

ÆNIX offers purchase or long-term rental options, following a tailored study. Request your free site audit to receive a proposal suited to your site.
