Automating operations in a working hotel

A hotel never stops

Your hotel is alive all day. So are your operations.

Check-ins, check-outs, service, floors: upkeep and internal runs are organised continuously, around the guests.

Lobbies and reception

Busy spaces that have to stay clean and welcoming for every arrival.

Corridors and floors

Circulation areas that need regular upkeep, with the discretion guests expect.

Food service

Dining rooms and service areas to maintain between sittings, where the solution is suitable.

Internal requests and deliveries

Trays, linen, supplies: back-and-forth runs that take teams away from guests and service.

Lifts, doors and hotel systems: integration with lifts, automatic doors, access control, telephony or the PMS can be assessed depending on the building’s equipment and infrastructure. No compatibility is taken for granted without a prior assessment.

Customer experience

More technology. Without removing the human touch.

Robotics should stay discreet and support your organisation. The tasks that can be automated go to the machines; welcoming guests, attentiveness and relationships stay human.

01

Discretion

Zones and times set with you, so the robotics stays behind the service.

02

Support for the teams

Repetitive tasks handed to robots leave more room for welcome and service.

03

Human contact

Welcoming, advising and looking after guests remain your teams’ business.

Several uses, one project

Cleaning, delivering, transporting, assisting.

A single project can bring together several families of solutions, assessed together for your hotel.

ÆNIX integration

The robot is only part of the project.

What makes a hotel deployment work is the assessment beforehand and the support afterwards. That is the role of ÆNIX Robotics as an integrator.

Financial assessment

How many tasks can you genuinely automate?

No percentage saving and no payback period without data: the potential is measured from the reality of your property.

The assessment may equally conclude that a task is not worth automating.

One project, several ways to acquire it.

Acquisition and financing options can be explored depending on the project. The terms are presented with the proposal drawn up for your property.

Frequently asked questions

Robots for hotels: your questions.

Assess my site
Which cleaning robot should a hotel choose?

It depends on the spaces and the floors. ÆNIX PURE NANO is designed for compact spaces with dense furniture; ÆNIX PURE QUIET for corridors and common areas where work must not disturb anyone, on hard floors and short-pile carpet; ÆNIX PURE ONE LITE for mid-sized lobbies and corridors. The choice is confirmed after your property has been assessed.

Can a robot clean while the hotel stays open?

That is what the assessment is for: depending on the spaces, footfall and your hours, the zones and cleaning windows are set to fit the way the hotel runs. Depending on the case, cleaning is scheduled during activity or at quieter times.

Can a robot be used in hotel corridors?

Yes, if the clearance widths and the floors suit the machine. For example, the stated minimum clearance is 80 cm for ÆNIX PURE QUIET and 900 mm for ÆNIX PURE ONE LITE. Corridors, their coverings and their obstacles are checked during the assessment.

Can a robot use the lift?

Integration with lifts can be assessed depending on the building’s equipment and infrastructure. It is never taken for granted: it is checked during the assessment, like automatic doors and access control.

Can some deliveries to rooms be automated?

Tray delivery robots such as ÆNIX SWIFT are intended to carry orders and trays. Whether that can reach the rooms depends on the circulation routes, the lifts and how your departments are organised: it is assessed case by case.

Are robots suitable for upmarket hotels?

Robotics can fit an upmarket property as long as it stays discreet and serves the teams. The machines, zones and times are chosen with you to protect your guests’ experience.

Can we trial a robot at our property?

Where it is possible and worthwhile, a demonstration or trial can be arranged, subject to the property’s eligibility and the availability of the solution. Tell us about your project to look at the terms.

How much does a hotel robot cost?

The cost depends on the solution chosen, its configuration, the deployment in your property and the associated services (training, support, maintenance), as well as on how it is acquired or financed. ÆNIX draws up a proposal after assessing your needs. Request a quote
